At Barnoire, we handcraft each piece using centuries old, reclaimed lumber from the barns and buildings of New England. Contemporary, rustic designs highlight the history of each board in true Vermont style. Old hinges, antique stained glass, and maple sugar tap hooks are details that represent our environmental mission while honoring the past.

Any Barnoire piece is a work of art that is environmentally friendly and functional.  It will bring new life to the contemporary lodge or a mountain home.

What do you think about the 3" x 40" x 8' red oak board you see in the adjacent picture?  This is the rarest board that we've seen and we recently acquired it!  It would make a great dining room table or counter top! Call us with your ideas...

All of our furniture is built to be one of a kind. Our kitchen and bath cabinetry is designed and built to suit your aesthetics and individual needs. In addition to furniture and cabinetry, Barnoire specializes in a full range of design and installation services. Custom wood floors are now available! We have recently partnered with Antique and Vintage Woods of America. For a complete list of the beautiful floors which they offer and we install, visit their website.

To promote the re-use of valuable materials through the reclamation and transformation of historic New England lumber into contemporary, rustic furniture and cabintetry.

"Our Barnoire dining room table is the centerpiece of the furniture in our home. Our family is fighting over who will inherit it as an heirloom to give to their grandchildren. It's turned into quite the conversation piece when we have guests over for dinner. They can't believe it's made from wood from a pub over 200 years old."
